Just a quick note to let you all know that Lucy’s CT angaiogram went well today. Â The anesthesiologist was pretty concerned about the fact that she could not open her mouth. Â She told me that this is an anesthesiologist “Worst case scenario”. Â There was some confusion about what kind of juice Lucy had consumed at 6 am, so just to be safe, she made us wait an extra three hours. Â She said if Lucy were to throw up she would choke because there would be no way to suction her. Â She said nasal suction could be attempted but it would be very difficult.
Thanks for all of your continued prayers. Â Lucy did very good in that extra three hours. Â Nadine came with and was a huge help. Â Of course, a bribe trip to the gift shop helped her to not complain too much. Â We have 10 days to go…please continue to pray for us.
In Christ’s Peace,
Katie
